Ted Hart is a global philanthropy executive, bestselling author, podcast host, and advisor to high-impact donors, foundations, corporations, and nonprofits. An Eagle Scout and proud father of an Eagle Scout, he reflects a lifelong commitment to service and values-driven leadership.

From 2012 to 2024, Ted served as President and CEO of CAF America and CAF Canada, leading global grantmaking initiatives that reached more than 135 countries. He previously held senior development roles at Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland Medical Center and founded the International ePhilanthropy Foundation.

Holding ACFRE, CAP®, and CDE® credentials, Ted has authored eight books on philanthropy and hosts The Nonprofit Coach: Everything DAF podcast. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Howard County Ethics Commission and is active in the Sons of the American Revolution.

I am very proud of my two adult children Sarah Grace Hart and Alexander Michael Hart.
