James C. Howell

James Howell grew up in the South, and surprised himself and others by becoming a pastor. With a Ph.D. in Old Testament, James has been senior minister of two large churches in North Carolina, and teaches part-time at Duke Divnity School, his alma mater. He and his wife Lisa (who works to house homeless families) are lovers of books of all sorts.
