Mel Cebulash

Mel Cebulash was born in Jersey City, NJ,grew up in nearby Union City, NJ, and joined the US Army as soon as he graduated high school. After serving three years, he returned to his home state, completed his education and became a junior high school reading teacher. A few years later, he was hired by Scholastic Magazines in New York City and started his writing career. His first book,"Monkeys,Go Home,"was a novelization of a Disney movie. Many of his books that followed, including a novelization of "The Love Bug," were for young readers and middle-school youngsters. One book won a Young Adult Choices Award from the International Reading Association and the series of sports books he authored for adult literacy won a Best Series Award from the Public Library Association of the ALA. His humorous "The Grossest Book of World Records" was also published in Germany and Great Britain. In 1977, he married Dolly Hasinbiller in Hollywood, CA, and they presently reside in Scottsdale, AZ. His first Kindle book is FREAK YEAR 1967. Print rights are available.
