John Dear

John Dear is a priest, peace activist, organizer, lecturer, and retreat leader. He is the author/editor of forty books on peace and nonviolence, served as the director of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, and currently directs the Beatitudes Center. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Archbishop Desmond Tutu. He lives in California.
