Peter McCaffery

Professor Peter McCaffery is an American historian, a former UK university president and Winston Churchill Fellow with extensive experience across a variety of institutions from Community College to the Ivy League, including successive business turn-arounds. A broadcaster on the Trump Presidency, a UK national leadership fellow in higher education and pioneer of on-line university management development, he also provides consultancy services to higher education institutions within the UK and overseas. The Higher Education Manager's Handbook - grounded in an inclusive and empowering approach to leadership - is a practitioner guide and set text for leadership development in many universities in the UK, USA and beyond. He also pioneered new modes of inquiry into political corruption in the American City demonstrated in his work, When Bosses Ruled Philadelphia. He still seeks to compete as an international masters swimmer.
