Patrick S. Halley worked for the White House during the Clinton Administration. He spent eight years as Hillary Rodham Clinton's principal advance man. He preceded her to 36 countries and throughout the United States, building crowds, negotiating protocol with foreign governments and facilitating every aspect of her schedule.
He put on events at the Paris Opera House, the Kennedy Center, the Sydney Opera House, the Superdome, and Carnegie Hall. He was Executive Producer for the White House Millennium Celebration Opening Ceremony on January 1, 2000.
In the course of his work he rode camels, elephants and donkeys, was roared at by a lion and chased by an angry yak. He toured the Kremlin with Boris Yeltsin as his tour guide, returned to Robben Island Prison with Nelson Mandela, shared a hotel with Fidel Castro, and met one on one with Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat.
Prior to his work for the White House he had a career in law enforcement, serving eight years as Chief of Operations for the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office, one of the largest prosecutorial agencies in the nation, and four years as Chief of Operations for the Attorney General of Massachusetts.
He has extensive political experience, having served as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, five years as a legislative aide in the Massachusetts Senate, and as State Director or Advance Man in five Presidential campaigns. He has also managed or advised more than a dozen successful congressional or statewide campaigns.
