ERIN DEALEY is an award-winning playwright and author of 20+ children’s books and plays for young adults. A credentialed English/Theater teacher with decades of experience, she writes books that celebrate kindness and community, including JUST FLOWERS and DEAR EARTH…From Your Friends in Room 5 --winner of a NYSRA Charlotte Award and CT Nutmeg Award nominee. Her rhyming SNOW GLOBE WISHES is an Anna Dewdney Read Together Honor Book. PETER EASTER FROG is a two-time JLG Emergent Readers Plus selection. At school visits and virtual visits, Dealey welcomes any opportunity to motivate students to read and write, and reminds them that writing is a Language ART. In the summer she heads the Theater dept. at Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp (30+ seasons) and understands the need for flexible casting and minimal staging.
