Dr. Sansone is a professor of psychiatry and internal medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He has published over 400 professional articles and book chapters, co-edited two books ("Self-Harm Behavior and Eating Disorders" and "Personality Disorders and Eating Disorders"), and co-authored two books ("Borderline Personality Disorder in the Medical Setting" and "Transcending the Personality Disordered Parent"). His most recent book, "Transcending the Personality Disordered Parent," is Dr. Sansone's first foray into self-help books and is based upon clinical experience with patients who have difficult and challenging parents. This book is unique in that the recommended approaches include both psychological and spiritual techniques for resolution. Dr. Sansone has maintained a longstanding interest in the treatment and research of personality disorders. He resides in Dayton, Ohio.
