Charles A. Perrone

Charles A. Perrone (born 1951 Binghamton NY) is Professor Emeritus of Portuguese & Luso-Brazilian Literature and Culture in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Florida. He has retired in his home state of California between the redwoods and the seaside.

He was also coordinator of Brazilian Studies in the Center for Latin American Studies. He studied at UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine and the University of Texas, Austin. He was twice Fulbright scholar in Brazil.
