Louis Stulman

Louis Stulman is Professor of Religious Studies and Chair of the Religious Studies and Philosophy Department at the University of Findlay. He earned the M.Phil and Ph.D in Hebrew Bible from Drew University. He has written, co-authored or co-edited numerous books and articles, including You are My People: Introduction to Prophetic Literature (with Hyun Chul Paul Kim), the Abingdon Old Testament Commentary on Jeremiah, Order Amid Chaos, Troubling Jeremiah (with Kathleen M. O’Connor and A. R. Pete Diamond), and The Prose Sermons of the Book of Jeremiah. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Biblical Literature, Interpretation, Hebrew Studies, Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, Horizons in Biblical Theology, and elsewhere. Stulman is on the editorial board of the Journal of Biblical Literature; he is a contributor to Feasting on the Word (WJK) and the New Interpreter’s Dictionary of the Bible (Abingdon); he also serves as a translator for the new Common English Bible.
