Mark Davies

Born in Cardiff Wales, Davies studied social anthropology at Cambridge, then moved to New York City, where he worked in theatre, television, magazine and book publishing. In 1995 he switched to Internet startups, and founded or co-founded Metrobeat (NYC), CitySearch (Pasadena), FirstTuesday (London), BusyInternet (Accra), RackAfrica (Accra), Esoko (Accra). He's currently working out what to do next.
