Phillip Tovey

Phillip Tovey is former Principal of the Diocese of Oxford Local Ministry Pathway before retirement in 2022. He had been working the theological education for the last 25 years, training Readers and diocesan priests. He has written extensively on liturgical issues through Grove Books - and chaired the editorial board for 7 years. He has been a guest speaker in Yale, Hong Kong, New Zealand and has been a longstanding member of the Inter Anglican Liturgical Consultation. He has visited Kerala many times and has a particular interest in Syrian Liturgy. he has also written in inculturation and Anglican initiation.
