Charles C. Eldredge
Charles C. Eldredge has served as director of the Spencer Museum of and the Smithsonian's American Art Museum; he is presently a Smthsonian Research Associate and the Hall Distinguished Professor of American Art Emeritus at the University of Kansas where he taught for 30 years. He has published widely on American art and culture of the19th ahd 20th centuries.
