Jan Pottker

"Vivien Thomas" is Jan Pottker’s ninth book and her writing demonstrates the deep research that results in her fresh perspectives on the lives and times of her subjects. She has worked as research chief and analyst at the Office for Civil Rights at both the former US Department of Health, Education and Welfare as well as at the US Department of Education. Pottker earned a PhD from Columbia University.
