Rawley A. Silver

Rawley Silver's assessments use stimulus and response drawings to bypass language in assessing cognitive skills, and/or to identify children, adolescents, and adults who may be at risk for harming themselves or others.

She has received four annual awards for research from the American Art Therapy Association, and was elected to Honorary Life Membership in 1983. In 2009, she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Teachers College, Columbia University, where she earned Masters and Doctoral degrees. 38 of her journal articles or reports are listed on her website www.rawleysilver.com.

Also a painter, her work has been shown in invitational and juried group shows as well as 18 one-person shows.
