Peter Donahue

Peter Donahue's newest work of fiction is Three Sides Water, a trilogy of short novels. He is the author of two novels--Madison House, winner of the Langum Prize for American Historical Fiction, and Clara and Merritt, which Seattle Met magazine called "a ripping good read"--as well as a collection of short stories, The Cornelius Arms.

In addition, Peter is co-editor of two literary anthologies, Reading Seattle and Reading Portland, and since 2005 he has written the Retrospective Review column on Northwest literature in Columbia: The Magazine of Northwest History. His stories and essays have appeared in Washington Square, South Carolina Review, Short Story, Connecticut Review, The Southern Quarterly, Red Cedar Review, and elsewhere.
