Mae Nunn

Mae Nunn grew up in Houston and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin. She was content to spend her life in the Lone Star State, but God had other plans. In 1989 Mae met Michael, a transplanted Englishman living in Atlanta and Mae hung up her spurs to become a southern belle.

When she began working on her first novel a dozen years ago Mae promised her mother not to write anything that would be offensive. Once again, God interceded because He wanted Mae's stories to be much more than simply acceptable. He wanted them to be pleasing in His sight. Surrendering to the call on her writing, Mae's promise to her mother evolved into a much larger mission to glorify God with her work.

Since 2003 Mae has been contracted for eight Love Inspired novels and in September of 2008 she was blessed to be able to retire after thirty years in the air express industry and is now a full time writer! When asked how Mae feels about being a published author in the Christian fiction market she summed it up by simply saying "Yeeeee Ha!"
