Michael J. Akers

Michael J Akers, PhD, spent 40 years as a scientist and executive in the pharmaceutical industry and taught courses throughout the world on the development, manufacturing, and quality of sterile dosage forms. He also taught adult Bible classes for nearly 40 years and earned an ordination degree taking courses from the Evangelical Church Alliance. Michael developed severe hearing loss toward the end of his career and had to stop teaching. However, he began to start writing and also became a volunteer chaplain at a hospital near his home in Phoenix, AZ. He and his wife, Mary, are members of Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) in Phoenix. He has now written and published four Christian books, a fifth one just completed on Psalms and Proverbs, and now writing his sixth book. The books are written in very practical language, yet expository in depth of coverage.
