Brian Moeran

Brian Moeran is an anthropologist who has written widely about Japan and the Far East. In his time, has been Professor of this, that, and the other at various universities around the world, a trainee helicopter pilot in Her (now His) Britannic Majesty's Royal Navy, and a Japanese television comedian (thankfully, back in the days before video might have led to YouTube fame). He also claims to have hitch-hiked from London to Athens two hours faster than the train (back in 1965). Will the Guinness Book of Records please note?
