David Potter

I was born in 1948 and have always been keen on football and cricket. I was educated at Forfar Academy and St Andrews University, from which I graduated in 1970. I taught Classics and Spanish at Glenrothes High School until I retired in 2003. Since then I have written books on football and cricket. I am a season ticket holder at Celtic Park, and my books are mainly on the rich history of Celtic FC, but I have also written books on teams like Newcastle and Sunderland. Both football and cricket remain my passions, but I am also interested in drama.
