Nancy Schuman

Nancy Schuman's career spans more than 40 years in the staffing and employment industry. She is a long time advocate for career education and has written thousands of effective resumes for jobs seekers at all levels and skill areas. A recognized expert in workforce/workplace issues, she continues to write freelance articles and contribute to blogging platforms on topics related to job search, hiring, employee engagement and the current employment landscape.

From 2006 until 2010, she served as the Jobs and Careers columnist for The Long Island Press, one of the nation's largest weekly newspapers, for Long Island's 3 million people living in the New York suburbs. Ms. Schuman is a Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) as designated by the American Staffing Association. She attended Indiana University and C.W. Post College. In 2023, she retired as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Lloyd Staffing, a privately held staffing company headquartered in Melville, New York. She continues to write and speak about today’s evolving workplace, workforce trends, job search strategies, recruitment, employer branding, and the changing relationship between employers and talent.
