Born talking – so my mum said – I’ve been telling stories ever since. I’ve been writing books for children for forty years - and still am. And now I'm writing for grown-ups too! My first novel, The Widows’ Wine Club, a sad-happy romance drawing on my own experience as a widow came out in 2023 and was an immediate success. Right from the start readers loved sweary Viv straight-laced Janet and glamorous Zelda. Readers asked for more.

Widows on the Wine Path came next, introducing the newly widowed Libby and the obnoxious Monty. Widows Beware! Next came Widows Waive the Rules and number four, The Widows' Book Club is just out!
