Ever since I can remember, stories have been part of my life. As a little girl, I would find a hiding place, snuggle into myself and close my eyes. It was as if a world of stories lived inside me and all I had to do was open the "theatre in my mind" to enter the world of my imagination. In these stories I was a fearless heroine who could solve all problems and overcome all obstacles.
When I grew up, I discovered the power of stories, and with a colleague, the world of storymaking. Being able to enter into a story has saved my life on more than one occasion, giving me reason to hope.
Now, living in Santa Fe, having the time to write and explore, I find that hearing and telling stories connects us to each other in magical and profound ways, making it possible to share what makes us the unique people we are.
