Peggy Archer

Peggy Archer grew up in Gary, Indiana. She writes fiction, poetry and non-fiction for children. Her newest picture book, THREE LITTLE WITCHES AND THE SPOOKY OLD HOUSE, is a not-too-scary story for young readers with a fun surprise at the end. It will be released by Little Brown Young Readers on August 11, 2026 and is available for pre-order.

Peggy enjoys speaking to students about her books and writing and to adults about writing for children. She also likes reading mysteries, doing word and number puzzles, walking and spending time with her family.

She and her husband have six children and fifteen grandchildren. A retired registered nurse, she lives with her husband in Valparaiso, Indiana.
