David C. Lewis

I am a Distinguished Professor (特聘教授) at Yunnan University, China, and also an affiliated researcher at the Mongolia and Inner Asia Studies Unit, the University of Cambridge. During the 2018-19 academic year I was also a temporary lecturer in the Japanese Department at Cambridge University, teaching a course on modern Japanese society while one of their regular staff was away in Japan on a sabbatical. Some of the time I am in China and the rest of the time I live in Cambridge, England, where I continue to be involved in research and writing.
