Stephen Browne

Stephen Browne is co-director of the Future United Nations Development System (FUNDS) project, Senior Fellow of the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies, Graduate Center, City University of New York, and visiting lecturer at the University of Geneva. He spent more than 30 years in the UN system, more than half of that time on country assignments. He was UN Representative in newly-independent Ukraine and in Rwanda. From 2006 until 2009, he was Deputy Executive Director of the International Trade Centre in Geneva. He has written a dozen books on aid, development and the UN.
