In 1954, Robert Jendry entered the seminary and left in '57 for purely secular reasons. Robert's seminarian training coincided with the height of the developing aggiornamento (updating of the Catholic Church). A window threw open into the world of enlightenment. In that period, the philosophical teachings gave light to moral theology. The teachings on equality and acceptance for a fair and just society took form as partial framework for the 1960's civil rights non-violent action and action in law change. Active in the civil movement, Robert sat at the back of the bus, boycotting businesses and signing petitions. Formative to Robert, these principles are at the core of his spirituality books and business ethics and practices.
In the 1960's, Robert left med school to explore his obsession with the emerging IT computer phenomena. In those days, a computer was the size of a small truck.
In 1998, Robert gave his own company, JEL, full time attention; working on international engagements. Successfully guiding companies in developing business models that leverage information systems to support growth and profitability objectives.
