Mary Dalrymple

Mary Dalrymple is Emerita Professor of Syntax at the University of Oxford. She received a PhD in Linguistics from Stanford University in 1990, and was a member of the research staff at Xerox PARC in Palo Alto, California and a consulting faculty member in the Department of Linguistics and the Symbolic Systems Program at Stanford University until 2002. In 2003 she took up a position as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at King's College London, and in 2004 she moved to the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics at the University of Oxford.
