Ladette Randolph is the author of five books: the novels "Private Way," "A Sandhills Ballad" (a NYTimes Editor's Choice) and "Haven's Wake," the short story collection "This Is Not the Tropics," and the memoir "Leaving the Pink House," and is the editor of two anthologies. The editor-in-chief of Ploughshares magazine, she is on the graduate faculty at Emerson College in Boston and is co-owner of the manuscript consulting firm Randolph Lundine (www.randolphlundine.com). She is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize, a Rona Jaffe grant, the Virginia Faulkner Award, and four Nebraska Book Awards.
