Ruth A. Wilson

Dr. Ruth Wilson recently retired as the Research Library Curator for the Children & Nature Network. Her career also includes working as a teacher and teacher educator for over 30 years. Her consulting projects have included work with Sesame Street, California's Education and Environment Initiative, Action for Children in Ohio, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in Milwaukee, and Brookfield Zoo near Chicago.

Dr. Wilson's articles have appeared in numerous publications including Young Children, Journal of Environmental Education, Environmental Education Research Journal, Green Teacher, Early Childhood News, Exchange, and Teaching Tolerance. She is the author of nine books. Her most recent book, Nature and Spirituality During the Early Years, is published by Routledge.
