Chris Smith

Chris Smith is an expert on helping young adults achieve financial independence. After a career as a senior financial executive in technology, he’s turned his attention to demystifying the financial world for others by creatively using analogies, stories and pictures to make complex ideas simple to understand.

Most recently, he's the founder of I Am Net Worthy, on a on a mission to deliver sound, practical personal finance knowledge to young adults everywhere, putting them on a path to financial independence. Chris has consistently emphasized making personal finance education available first to underserved populations, partnering with multiple nonprofits, Native American tribes and educational institutions.

Among Chris’ other passions is far flung travel. He’s been to all 50 states (twice), all seven continents (including the one with penguins), all of the New 7 Wonders of the World, and lots of countries in between. He now lives in the Los Angeles area.
