Timothy L. Carson

Tim Carson is a writer, teacher, counselor, husband, father, scuba diver, motorcycle enthusiast, musician and world traveler. His favorite author is Albert Camus. Tim loves reading the next good book, attending concerts of many styles, taking part in film festivals, and teaching his students in the Honors College of the University of Missouri. Nothing thrills him more than playing the tin whistle in an Irish session group, except, of course, walking his Golden Retriever, Dorado, down the trails of the deep woods.

Tim is the author of Liminal Reality and Transformational Power (2016), and editor of Neither Here nor There: The Many Voices of Liminality (2019) and The Liminal Loop: Astonishing Stories of Discovery and Hope (2022). The Liminal Loop has received a book award by Literary Titan.

Tim is the curator of TheLiminalityProject.org and the co-founder of The Guild for Engaged Liminality. He and his family live near the banks of the Missouri River.
