Jim Simons

Jim Simons, author of Molly Chronicles: Serotonin Serenade, graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1965. He worked for the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO),the federal War on Poverty agency, in its heyday. He then opened a private practice in Austin representing many activists of the New Left. He was a trial lawyer in Texas for nearly four decades, handling many cases involving civil rights and civil liberties. He still lives in the Clarksville neighborhood in Austin with his wife Nancy and their current dogs, Harlow and Max.
