Leslie Holmes

Leslie Holmes is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Melbourne, and a Recurrent Visiting Professor at the University of Bologna (until 2017), the Graduate School of Social Research in Warsaw, and the People’s University in Beijing. He has also taught twice at the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Vienna. He was elected a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia in 1995. In addition to seven edited collections, he has published eight authored books and one co-authored book on various aspects of communism, post-communism, corruption, organised crime and human trafficking; his work has been translated into 14 languages.
