D. Baloti Lawrence

Douglas Lawrence, Ph.D. is an educator and communication consultant. He is the author of six previous books, including Communication Skills for Healthcare Professionals, Tarot-22 Steps To A Higher Path, and Waterworks. He is the former Director of Health Communication at Marywood University. His research area is Health Communication and Well-Being. Dr. Lawrence has also composed music, produced and directed several documentaries, one of which “Sacred Rituals,” was presented the USPS Jimmy Stewart Memorial award for excellence. He is a former board member of The Wright Center for Graduate Education and presented the Keynote address for The World Health Organizations’ World Health Day, entitled “Bridges For Global Communication in Healthcare.” Dr. Lawrence continues his research, consulting and production of communication related issues to explore the mutual well-being of individuals and our global community.
