Peter Hayes

I enjoy writing and illustrating books of all kinds (although my academic books are not illustrated). In my own view, my pictures are rather good. I only wish that back when I was a teenager the examiners for my Art O level had agreed with this assessment. But they didn’t, and I failed (grade D). Had I passed, who knows to what glittering heights my artistic career might have risen! Oh well.
