T.H. Tse received the PhD in Information Systems from LSE, and was a Visiting Fellow at University of Oxford. He is an Honorary Prof. in Computer Science with The University of Hong Kong (HKU) after retiring from full professorship in 2014. He helped raise 150 million dollars for HKU.
His research interests are program testing and debugging. He has 300+ publications, including books with Wiley-IEEE Press and Cambridge University Press. He ranks internationally as 2nd most prolific author on metamorphic testing. His article on adaptive random testing was selected as Grand Champion of the Most Influential Paper Award by Journal of Systems and Software.
Prof. Tse has been a Steering Committee Chair of IEEE International Conference on Software Quality, Reliability, and Security; and an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Reliability. He was on the search committee for the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering. He was awarded an MBE by Queen Elizabeth II of UK.
