Jeffrey Haynes

I am an author, editor and consultant on politics on religion and politics, religion and international relations, and the interaction between politics and religion in the West African state of Ghana, one of Africa's few vibrant liberal democracies. I was a professor of politics at London Metropolitan University, UK, and I am now an emeritus professor at the same institution. I have written or edited 65 books and hundreds of journal articles and book chapters. I am co-editor-in-chief of Q1 journal, Democratization, and editor of the Routledge book series, 'Religion and Politics', which has published more than 50 books since 2011.
