Monique Raphel High

MONIQUE RAPHEL HIGH is a French-American author. She has published six novels and co-authored a nonfiction book, co-written a produced film, and is at work on her seventh novel. She is represented by Mel Berger of William Morris-Endeavor and Italia Gandolfo. Ms. High resides in Beverly Hills, CA. She is the widow of Russian psychologist Grigorii Raiport and of Ben Pesta, a criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles. She is a member of the De Gunzburg family, the granddaughter of Baroness Sonia de Gunzburg and the great-granddaughter of scholar Baron David de Gunzburg. Her father is film executive David Raphel and her late mother was a literary agent in Paris. Ms. High lives with her beloved Persian Chinchilla cat, Sebastian.
