Sujoy Das

Sujoy Das is a freelance photographer based in Kolkata. He has been photographing, climbing and trekking in the Himalaya for the last thirty five years. His photographs have been published in leading newspapers, magazines and books worldwide like Alpinist, The Washington Post, Lonely Planet, APA Publications, Lifeforce Magazine, India Today Travel Plus, Hindu Business Line, The Telegraph, Frontline, Outlook Traveler etc. He is the co- author and photographer of the book SIKKIM – A Travelers Guide with Arundhati Ray which was a finalist in the Banff Book Competition in the Adventure Travel category. He has held solo exhibitions of his work in New Delhi and Kolkata. His has co authored and photographed Lonely Planet Nepal for the Indian Traveller. His book of black and white photographs Nepal Himalaya - A Journey Through Time has been recently published (June 2016).
