Meera Grimes

MEERA GRIMES is an artist and a philosopher and the disciple of Sadguru Swami R. Vaidyanathan. She has published several books that include: A Man with a Message to Humanity - A Biography of Swami Vaidyanathan; How to dance and get liberated from the small I; Harikatha; The Art and Science of Conscious Cooperation with God; The Offspring of God and Play of God; RARE: Ramana Maharshi and Remaji. She is a multi-faceted artist and is widely known for her Harikathas (similar to western Oratorio) and has received accolades as a sincere torchbearer of that spiritual art during the 1970s and 80s. She is the receiver of the prestigious title ‘Kalaimamani’ from the State Government of Tamil Nadu, India for her spiritual narrations, in 1983. She is one of the best South Indian classical dance teachers and has trained many students in that art. Currently she spends most of her time working on her Guru’s manuscript, giving talks on spiritual maters in selected places and distributes her time between the United States and Chennai, India.
