I have published one book about living and traveling in India, and the next (of a trilogy) will be out in 2006. It will be entitled "Back in Indian Territory" and will include locations not included in "Surrounded By Indians" plus more from Delhi. The manuscript about three years in Tanzania and other parts of Eastern and Southern Africa will hopefully be published in 2007.

A novel set in NE England during WW II is planned, and deals with American aviators flying B-24 Liberators on bombing raids over Germany and occupied France.

I am a US citizen who grew up in an Air Force family and lived in California, Texas, Kansas, Mississippi, Alaska, and Japan before graduating from high school. I have four university degrees from the USA and Norway, although I regard them mainly as necessary work that enabled me to obtain my secondary-school teaching papers. I have been teaching for three decades, mainly in Norway (Norwegian public schools) but also in India and Tanzania (American and international schools). Norway has been my home since 1971, although I visit the USA annually.

India remains my main area of cultural interest, and the second book about India will deal more with history than did the first one. In addition, maps will be included to enable the reader to more easily see where the areas described in the book are located geographically.
