Robert Hoekman

Robert Hoekman Jr is an American writer and product innovation strategist. He has led product, innovation, and design teams in-house at CNN, Akamai, and Tangible, and as a consultant at dozens of startups and larger companies, including Apple, Intuit, and more. He is the author of nine books (including several Amazon bestsellers) in the professional/technical space, and his writing has been published by Fast Company, Wired, Maxim, Iron & Air, and many others. He has also served as an Arts & Culture journalist, magazine editor, Nanoism, Spelk developer. His literary work has appeared or is forthcoming in 50-Word Stories, Nanoism, Spelk, Genrepunk, and elsewhere. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania, and teaches creative writing through the Stanford Continuing Studies Program. He lives with his dog in Richmond, Virginia.
