Alexander Hiam

Alex Hiam writes young adult and middle school novels involving magic, mystery and adventure. He leads writing workshops for teens for North Star and has taught at U Mass Amherst. His book, Silent Lee and the Adventure of the Side Door Key, won a Benjamin Franklin Award Silver Medal in 2020. Alex is a graduate of Harvard College and UC Berkeley.
