Maria McBride-Mellinger grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and went to college in NYC. Maria began her publishing career at Conde Nast Publications, became the wedding style director of BRIDES magazine, was a leading guru about wedding style, wrote six books about weddings and celebrating during the epoch that we now know to be the modern wedding renaissance. From cake decorators, calligraphers, paper makers, dress designers, floral stylists, decor experts, event planners, photographers, musicians to so many others who've serviced weddings, Maria launched the careers of the best trend setters who were first featured in her editorial portfolios. Perhaps predestined with the last name of McBride to write bridal books, Maria has always been moved by the joy of weddings, the celebration of life and creating beautiful memories.
