Sheri Colberg

Sheri R. Colberg, PhD, is an author, consultant, professor emerita (Old Dominion University), exercise physiologist, clinical researcher, and international lecturer on healthy lifestyles, diabetes prevention and management, exercise and physical activity, and much more (see www.shericolberg.com for a full biography of her many books and articles). In addition to writing columns for DiabetesInControl.com and others, she is frequently interviewed by the media. In 2016, she received a national honor, the American Diabetes Association Outstanding Educator in Diabetes award.

Her favorite pastime (besides being physically active) is sharing information to help people live not just longer but healthier lives, and she practices what she preaches.
