David B. Mandell

David B. Mandell, JD, MBA is an attorney in the Law Office of David B. Mandell, P.C. and principal of the wealth management firm The OJM Group, LLC.

Mr. Mandell is an author of more than fifteen books, including Wealth Management Made Simple, Wealth Protection: Build & Preserve Your Financial Fortress and Wealth Secrets of the Affluent, the last two of which were published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc., one of the largest business book publishers in the world.

In the specific niche for physicians, Mr. Mandell’s works include his most recent book Wealth Planning for the Modern Physician and the Category I CME monograph Risk Management for the Practicing Physician, certified for CME eight times since 1998.

Mr. Mandell’s expertise from these books has allowed him to write articles in over 100 publications, including over 30 medical specialty periodicals, including Orthopedics Today, AAOS Now, AAOMS Today, The Ophthalmologist, Practical Dermatology, Modern Aesthetics and numerous others.

Mr. Mandell has addressed business conferences, including various chapters of both Entrepreneurs Organization and Vistage International. He has also appeared as an authority on television, including Fox and Bloomberg TV.

In the medical space, Mr. Mandell has lectured at many of the nation’s leading medical conferences, including annual meetings of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Section of the International College of Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the American Association of Orthopaedic Executives and numerous others.

Mr. Mandell holds a bachelor's degree, with honors, from Harvard University. His law degree is from the UCLA School of Law, and he also earned an MBA from UCLA’S Anderson School of Management.
