Philip Freeman

Philip Freeman earned his PhD at Harvard University and has taught at colleges and universities in the US, including Pepperdine University where he held the Fletcher Jones Chair in Humanities. He has written over thirty books on ancient and medieval history and literature. His books have been reviewed in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and other national publications.
