Jill S. Moran

A 20 year veteran of the special events industry, Jill Moran is a three time nominee of industry awards and a two-time recipient. In 2003, jsmoran was awarded for Best ISES Team Effort for an event created for the Sheraton Commander in Cambridge, MA. Author Jill Moran won in 2005 for Best Industry Contribution for her book, How to Start A Home-based Event Planning Business (Globe Pequot Press).

Jsmoran special event planning and management produces celebratory, non-profit and corporate events for clients worldwide. Moran earned the CSEP (Certified Special Event Professional) designation in 2002 and has served in various leadership roles in ISES both locally and internationally. Her latest book, How to Start A Home-based Wedding Planning Business was published in January 2009. In addition to her books, she has published articles on event related topics, spoken at global industry conferences and was featured on WHDH Channel 7 in the Boston market for a holiday décor segment.
