I've been a "car guy" since I was just a toddler, playing with my Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. My teenage years were spent working on not only my own Chevelles, GTOs, and 4x4s, but on the Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, 4-4-2s, Chargers, T-Birds, and Jeeps that belonged to my friends after hours at the local gas station and repair at which I worked, Jonesy's Service Center.

With the ink not yet dry on my Journalism degree, I landed my first job in the automotive press world: Technical Editor of "Muscle Car Review" magazine. In the decades that followed, I've been Editor-in-Chief of numerous magazines, including "Muscle Car Review", "Chevy Action!", "Corvette & Chevy Trader", "Ford & Mustang Trader", "Mustang Milestones", "Motorcycle Milestones", "Pontiac Enthusiast", and "Mopar Enthusiast", in addition to writing and photographing the material for numerous automotive books, and contributing articles to a host of magazines, including "AutoWeek", "Chevy High Performance", "Mopar Muscle", "Corvette Fever", "Mustang Monthly", "Super Ford", "Racing Milestones", "High Performance Pontiacs", "Poncho Perfection", and others.

I'm currently producing material for a number of upcoming magazine articles, a new automotive channel devoted to classic and contemporary muscle cars, automotive-centric fictional stories, and developing a made-for-TV series about muscle cars.

When my fingers aren't clicking away at a keyboard or triggering the shutter release of my Nikon, they're wrapped around the steering wheel or turning wrenches on my fleet of vintage muscle machines, which currently includes an original Ram Air IV '69 GTO Judge, a 530-horse big-block Chevelle, an A-sedan-spec third-gen Firebird Trans Am SCCA racer, and a classic GMC stepside 4x4 ... among others.
